Felipe Vergara

Felipe Vergara has worked in a variety of roles in the IT industry since 2009. Felipe began their career at El Mercurio as a Project Engineer, where they led different web development projects and participated in the design and development of different web applications. In 2011, they joined the Ministry of Social Development of Chile as a Project Engineer, where they were responsible for process analysis and redesign, creating and coordinating the control and management system of social programs, and designing and developing the data-warehouse of the Social Service division. In 2012, they were promoted to Chief of Information and Project Department, where they improved all the key indicators and successfully implemented two world-class IT platforms. In 2014, they joined Scott & Fyfe Ltd as an Internal Consultant and an Internship, where they provided strategic consulting and operations management consulting. In 2015, they co-founded Conectter as CTO. In 2016, they joined Great Place To Work® Chile as IT & Process Manager, where they designed and developed survey platform, created the software development team, and created the research and development team. In 2018, they joined Pharedata as a Senior Consultant. Finally, in 2020, they founded Cheetrack, where they helped SMEs to increase their sales through intelligent instant messaging, developed event based cloud architecture on AWS, and developed backend on Python with serverless infrastructure on AWS.

Felipe Vergara began their educational career in 2003, when they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria. Felipe then attended Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) with a major in Industrial Engineering and Information Technology. In 2013, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Edinburgh, focusing on Strategy. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Information and Data Science from UC Berkeley School of Information.
