Maria Garcia-Ferguson has extensive experience in human resources, with roles at various companies spanning over 16 years. Maria most recently served as the Vice President of Human Resources for Chedraui USA, overseeing multiple banners and reporting directly to the CEO. Prior to that, Maria held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Insignia Brands, where they supported portfolio CEOs and played a key role in organizational redesigns and HR system harmonization. Maria also served as the Director of Human Resources for Carl Zeiss Meditec AG and McCormick, where they were responsible for a wide range of HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, and compensation. Maria began their HR career at Foster Farms as a Human Resources Supervisor and has since worked in various industries, including food production and private equity. Their experience includes managing labor relations, training, and recruitment. Maria is also experienced in unionized environments and has worked with Spanish-speaking employee populations.
Maria Garcia-Ferguson earned a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University, Stanislaus in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and General Management from Eastern Washington University between 1997 and 2001. Their educational journey started with a High School Diploma from Moses Lake Senior High School in 1993, where they completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program.
