Nilesh Gaikwad has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. Nilesh began their career as a Threat Research Engineer L2 at Quick Heal and then moved to GS Lab as a Senior Software Engineer in 2016. In 2018, they joined Symantec as a Software Development Engineer and then moved to Qualys as a Senior Software Engineer in 2019. Most recently, they were hired as a Lead Software Engineer at CheckRed in 2021.

Nilesh Gaikwad obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2012. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science (PUCSD), SP Pune University in 2012.
