Experienced Research Engineer at Checkmarx

Yehuda Gelb has diverse work experience in various roles. Yehuda is currently employed at Checkmarx as an Experienced Research Engineer since February 2022. Before that, they founded and headed YG Productions since 2013. Additionally, they have served in the Israeli Air Force, where they worked as a Blue Team Officer (Cybersecurity Defense Strategist) from July 2021 to February 2022 and as an Information System Security Officer from September 2016 to July 2021.

Yehuda Gelb's education history begins in 2012 when they attended Adir Bamarom and obtained an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering by 2014. In 2017, they attended John Bryce to study Cyber/Electronic Operations and Warfare. From 2018 to 2020, Yehuda Gelb enrolled in HackerU - ×”×קריו המר×›×– ללימודי ×ž×—×©×‘×™× ×•×”×©×ž×ª ×¢×•×‘×“×™× ×‘×”×™×™×˜×§ and earned a CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) qualification. In 2019, Gelb briefly studied Project Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. From 2020 to 2021, they attended See-Security: Cyber & Information Security College and obtained a Cisco CyberOps Associate & Certified Cyber Practitioner degree. Currently, Yehuda Gelb is pursuing a Bachelor's degree (BS) in Science in Cyber Security at EC-Council University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Gelb has obtained several certifications. These include IBM Applied AI (from Coursera) in July 2023, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (from (ISC)²) in February 2022 and January 2022 respectively. Yehuda has also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, such as Learning Tor and the Dark Web, Coaching Employees through Difficult Situations, DevSecOps: Building a Secure Continuous Delivery Pipeline, Financial Freedom: A Proven Path to All the Money You Will Ever Need, Igniting Emotional Engagement, Incident Response: Evidence Collection in Windows, Introduction to AWS for Non-Engineers: 2 Security, Introduction to AWS for Non-Engineers: 3 Core Services, and Learning the OWASP Top 10. In April 2021, they completed the certification titled "Make the Move from Individual Contributor to Manager" from LinkedIn.
