João Oliveira's work experience includes being an Application Security Analyst at Checkmarx since July 2022. In this role, João is responsible for researching, analyzing, and uncovering vulnerabilities in open-source projects. They also develop internal tools and scripts to assist with vulnerability analysis and conduct code reviews. Prior to this, João worked at La Redoute as a Cyber Security Engineer from February 2020 to June 2022 and as a System Operator from October 2019 to February 2020.

João Oliveira completed their education history in a chronological order. João began their academic journey in 2016 at the Polytechnic of Leiria, where they pursued a Licentiate degree in Computer Science. After three years, in 2019, they continued their studies at the same institution, specializing in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics.

In addition to their formal education, João obtained certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. In August 2023, they earned the Essential Badge from PentesterLab. João also obtained the Unix Badge from the same institution in January 2023.
