Bjørn Eielsen Malde has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the Chief Technology Officer at Checkin AS, a position they started in October 2022. Prior to this, Bjørn worked at Skatteetaten as a Project Manager from April 2019 to October 2022. Before that, they were a Rådgiver at Egde Consulting AS from March 2017 to April 2019, and a Seniorkonsulent from May 2016 to March 2017. Bjørn also worked at Devoteam as a Senior Consultant, starting in October 2013 and ending in May 2016. Their earliest work experience was at DNB, where they held various roles including Department Manager from May 2011 to October 2013, Senior Developer from April 2007 to May 2011, and Service Desk employee from September 2005 to April 2007.

Bjørn Eielsen Malde has a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy from the University of Bergen (UiB) that they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Before that, from 2001 to 2002, they studied Computer Engineering at Ingeniørhøjskolen i København. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at the University of Agder (UiA).

In terms of additional certifications, Bjørn Eielsen Malde obtained a certification as a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering from gasq Service GmbH in April 2017. In November 2016, they secured the PRINCE2® Foundation certification from PEOPLECERT. Bjørn Eielsen also holds the ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level, syllabus version 2011 certification, obtained in April 2016. In 2011, they obtained the ITIL FOUNDATION (2011) certification from Peoplecert. Finally, they obtained the Prince2 Practitioneer certification from PEOPLECERT in December 2016.
