Halim joined Check-6 as a Coach in March of 2018. Abdul Halim retired as a Senior Trainer at YANSAB (Yanbu National Petrochemical Kingdomn of Saudi Arabia). His job scope was to train Saudi plant technicians and Saudi engineers who graduated from on how to operate a polymer Plant/ Olefin plant. He had been given the responsibility to plan, observe and guide the trainees on job performance progress towards suCcess.
Halim was the plant safety ambassador in the LLDPE Plant and worked as safety coordinator in YANSAB polymer complex to creating awareness about the overall plant process equipment safety systems, and operational functions.
Before migrating to Saudi Arabia, Halim had worked at BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Sdn. Bhd. for a total of 9 years. He also held the position of a Fire Officer (Manager) for 3 years in Gebeng Kuantan in the Department of Health, Safety, and Environment. He also worked at the BASF Port Tank Farm for 6 years, where he was a Shift Supervisor / Loading Master. Abdul Halim managed BASF PETRONAS Port Tank Terminal and ship loading - adding to it, he also had led, managed, and supervised Port Tank Farm Construction Stage and Operation.
For 17 years, Abdul Halim worked at ESSO MALAYSIA Sdn. Bhd. as a Senior Technician in the department of Operation. He operated an 85 KB/D oil refinery in field and board operations.
