Russell Smith, DSc., PA-C, currently serves as a Physician Assistant at Community Health Centers, Inc., and AdventHealth Medical Group, with an ongoing role at Baystate Medical Center since May 2017. Russell has extensive experience in emergency medical services, having previously worked as a Paramedic at UMass Memorial Medical Center and in various paramedic roles at Wood's Ambulance Co. and Patriot Ambulance. Leadership experience includes serving as Union President for IAEP Local 95, overseeing negotiations and ensuring fair labor practices. Instructing at the Department of Fire Services and the Mass Fire Academy, Russell contributed to the education of first responders across Massachusetts. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and an Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Technology. Russell is currently pursuing an MBA in Health Care Administration at American Military University.
