Yray Akemu is an experienced IT Developer currently working at The Students Commission of Canada since July 2024, where responsibilities include designing and implementing RESTful API endpoints with Laravel and managing database interactions using MySQL. Prior experience as a Full Stack Developer at Yemak involved creating reusable components and developing RESTful APIs with Express. Yray also served as a Back End Developer at Fitness Factory, collaborating with front-end teams and utilizing Docker for development environments. Additional roles included lecturing on web development at ROLOF Computer Academy, providing customer support at SnapiLABS, and completing internships at Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in technical support and network support. Yray holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Afe Babalola University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology Solutions from Humber College.
