Tripp Davis has extensive experience in law enforcement and public safety, currently serving as an Advanced Deputy in the Enforcement Bureau of the Chatham County Sheriff's Office since September 2011. Prior roles include part-time Deputy with the City of Pooler, Georgia from October 2004 to January 2023, Sergeant as a Police Officer with the Southside Fire Department from January 1998 to January 2007, and Police Officer at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport from December 2003 to October 2004. Tripp began a law enforcement career as a Reserve Deputy with the Chatham County Sheriff's Department from January 2001 to October 2002. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration and an Associate of Arts from Saint Leo University, alongside further education from South University and Armstrong State University.
