Stephanie Brown, AICP, serves as the President of the American Planning Association - Illinois Chapter, where involvement spans various roles including President Elect and Professional Development Officer, focusing on organizing professional development and networking events. Currently an Office Manager and Urban Planner at Chastain & Associates LLC, Stephanie emphasizes creating inclusive and implementable community plans. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Planner at MSA Professional Services, Development Planner for the City of Decatur, and an intern with the City of Decatur. Academically, Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Speech Communications from Augustana College.
