Karen Tillett BSc (Hons), FCTSI, CTSP is an experienced trading standards professional currently serving as Trading Standards Manager for the Regulatory Services Partnership since February 2024, overseeing operations for the London Boroughs of Merton, Wandsworth, and Richmond-upon-Thames. Previously, Karen held the role of Trading Standards Manager and Chief Inspector of Weights & Measures at the London Borough of Barnet and worked as a Trading Standards Officer for the City of London Corporation. With extensive experience dating back to 1988, Karen has also served as Trading Standards Manager at the London Borough of Waltham Forest and as Principal Trading Standards Officer for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Karen has been actively involved with the Chartered Trading Standards Institute since April 2017, taking on roles as Treasurer of the CTSI London Branch and CPCF Verifier. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Sussex, followed by a Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Bedfordshire.
