Paul Laird is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations, volunteering, and fundraising. Currently serving as the Director of Operations and the Director of Learning & Volunteering at the Chartered Institute of Fundraising since 2021, Paul manages relationships with volunteer committees and oversees membership and engagement events. Additionally, Paul is a Board Member of the European Fundraising Association, contributing to the development of fundraising across Europe. Previous roles include Senior Operations Business Partner and National Volunteering Operations Centre Manager at Marie Curie UK, as well as leadership positions in business development, communications, and marketing across various organizations, including the University of South Wales and Lloyds Banking Group. Paul holds a BSc (Hons) in Banking & Finance from Loughborough University and an MA in Marketing from the University of the West of England.
