Matthew D'Amato is an experienced Control Systems Engineer currently employed at Charter Steel since May 2008. Expertise includes PLC programming with Allen Bradley SLC 500 series and Siemens S7, as well as HMI programming with Wonderware InTouch and AppServer. Notable achievements include automating a two-hand safety control for a coil upender. Prior experience includes a Control Systems Engineering Internship at Marquette University and a position in Event Services at Arlington Park International Racecourse, where promotion to supervisor of a group sales venue occurred. Matthew holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University, completed in 2013 and 2010, respectively.
