John Koltay has extensive experience in the restaurant industry, currently serving as an Area Coach at Charter Foods, Inc. since September 2021. Prior to this role, John held various managerial positions at Red Robin from May 2015 to September 2021, including General Manager. At Applebee's, from January 2002 to March 2014, John advanced through several roles such as Training General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Kitchen Manager, and Service and Bar Manager. Earlier in John's career, experience included managing the dining room and lounge at Penn State University's Nittany Lion Inn from 1999 to 2000, and serving as the Assistant Banquet and Dining Room Manager at Toftrees Golf Resort from 1994 to 1998. John Koltay earned a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Penn State University between 1993 and 1998.
