Chad Calvert is an accomplished Visual Communications Manager at Charlotte Symphony since August 2018 and a freelance Graphic Designer at Muse of Fire Creative since June 2008, specializing in branding and marketing materials for the nonprofit performing arts and education sectors. Prior acting experience includes performances at Children's Theatre of Charlotte from 2010 to 2013 in productions such as TREASURE ISLAND and TARZAN. Chad also served as Associate Artistic Director at BareBones Theatre Group from 1999 to 2009, taking on roles as director, designer, and performer for the award-winning troupe. As Resident Stage Director at Opera Carolina from 1999 to 2008, Chad managed both artistic direction and non-profit administration. Chad holds a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal music and theatre from Queens University of Charlotte, completed in 1999.
