Justin Pierce has a diverse range of experience in the education field. Justin started their career as a Visual Art Teacher at North Stanly High School from 2004 to 2011, where they developed and implemented art curriculum for students in grades nine to twelve. From 2012 to 2014, Justin worked as a STEAM Design Teacher at Central Cabarrus High School. In this role, they focused on teaching a foundation STEM design course and collaborated with other teachers to create project-based learning units. Following that, Justin served as the STEAM Coordinator at Central Cabarrus High School from 2014 to 2015, where they oversaw the entire STEAM program and worked with teachers and students to create a collaborative and innovative learning environment. Since 2015, Justin has been working as the Lead Media Arts Teacher for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
Justin Pierce has a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Art Teacher Education from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Justin also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art Teacher Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Painting, both from Kent State University.
