Michael Cristaldi has extensive work experience in the sports industry. Michael began their career in 2000 as a Public Relations Manager for the Minnesota Lynx, where they worked until 2003. Michael then joined the Minnesota Timberwolves as the Director of Public Relations, holding that position for 10 years. In 2013, they moved to the Charlotte Hornets and served as the Vice President of Communications until October 2019. Currently, Michael holds the position of Chief Communications Officer (CCO) for the Charlotte Hornets.

Michael Cristaldi received a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism & English from Marquette University, from the years 1994 to 1998.
