Tamara started their career in 1981 as the sole proprietor of Tamara L Elkins Accounting, where they gained valuable knowledge and expertise. In 1996, they joined charlieuniformtango as an Accountant, further strengthening their skills in financial management. Since 2010, Tamara has been the Director of Finance at TITAS Presents, utilizing their comprehensive understanding of finance and leading the company in strategic financial decision-making. Throughout their career, Tamara has consistently demonstrated their proficiency in accounting and finance, making their a highly experienced and capable professional in their field.

Tamara Elkins completed their high school education at Texarkana Arkansas High School from 1974 to 1977. Tamara graduated with honors and focused their studies on Business & Arts. Following their high school education, they attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1980 to 1985. At the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, specializing in the field of Accounting.
