James Wallace, PE, PTOE, serves as the Transportation Project Manager for the City of Charleston since June 2021, and previously held the role of Traffic Operations Manager. Responsibilities include interactions with city personnel, the public, and regulatory bodies regarding transportation projects, as well as managing traffic control and safety operations. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Engineer at BIHL Engineering, where James managed various transportation-related projects, and as a Field Engineer at Fluor Corporation, focusing on civil work packages. Additional roles at Duke Energy Corporation involved support in maintenance engineering and hydro generation. James holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a construction emphasis from Clemson University and is proficient in various engineering software.
