Leon VanWormer, MBA, has a diverse background in the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as a Business Development Manager for Gene Therapy at Charles River Laboratories. Prior experience includes multiple roles at Sartorius Stedim Biotech, such as Bioprocess Account Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region and Pennsylvania & Delaware, as well as an Inside Sales Representative for Bioprocess Solutions in California and the Pacific Northwest. Leon also held positions as Product Manager and Application Specialist for Filtration Technologies at Sartorius. Earlier career roles include an Analytical Chemist I at Altana US and Associate Chemist at Stiefel Laboratories, a GSK Company. Leon is currently pursuing an MBA at Rutgers Business School, complementing a prior education at Dowling College.
