Mama Jatu Gray

Educator/ Storyteller/ Performer at Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History

Mama Jatu Gray is an experienced Livestream Tech and Videographer, currently serving the Liberation Film Series and the Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers since August 2013. Gray has a significant background in education and storytelling, working as an Educator at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History since 2009, conducting tours and workshops. Previous roles include streaming concerts for the Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers and various videography positions related to significant film screenings. Gray possesses extensive event coordination experience from ten years at Systems Medical and has a foundation in makeup artistry with Fashion Fair Cosmetics. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Paramedic Studies from Wayne County Community College, with studies in African American history and liberal arts at the University of Detroit Mercy.
