Dirk Brown has extensive work experience in various roles within the telecommunications and technology industries. Earlier in their career, Dirk held senior positions at PGi and AT&T, where they played key roles in global product management and strategy. Dirk started their career as a Product Implementation Consultant at Watring & Associates and worked as a Marketing Programs Consultant at MCI Telecommunications Corporation. Dirk's vast experience also includes a role as a Product Manager at Hitachi Telecom. Dirk Brown has a BA in Classics from William & Mary, which they obtained from 1980 to 1984. Dirk also attended Harvard University for a summer study program in Greece in 1983. In 1988, Dirk enrolled in Emory University - Goizueta Business School and completed their MBA in Product Management and Marketing in 1990. Furthermore, Dirk has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2008, they completed the Practical Product Management with Requirements course at Pragmatic Marketing. In 2018, they became Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) through the Scrum Alliance. Lastly, Dirk obtained the Accessory Dwelling Unit Specialist certification from the Accessory Dwelling Academy in June 2019.
