Nyall Cook has a diverse work experience in the media and creative industries. Nyall started their career as a Creative at iris worldwide in 2010 and then worked as a Creative at glue Isobar from 2012 to 2013. Nyall then joined Guardian News & Media as a Creative Lead for Video from 2014 to 2015. In 2013, Nyall worked as a Film Director & Senior Creative across various production companies. Nyall then took on a significant role at BuzzFeed as the Director of Video, where they led the strategy, development, and production of original and commercial videos for BuzzFeed, Tasty, and BringMe!. This role lasted from 2017 to 2022. After BuzzFeed, Nyall Cook worked as the SVP Content for EMEA at Edelman, where they were responsible for launching an always-on content studio and overseeing content creation and production across multiple markets. Currently, they are the Head of Development, 4Studio at Channel 4.
Nyall Cook attended the University of Gloucestershire from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Creative Advertising.
