Angela Purvis has been serving as the Employment Services Manager and Team Leader at Changing Lives since September 2014, where the Get Ahead programme helps individuals in the North East of England overcome barriers to employment. Prior to this role, Angela Purvis worked at South Tyneside Council from June 1999 to September 2014, holding positions such as Team Leader, Senior Employment Coach, and Recovery Employment Coach, along with experience as a Library Assistant. Angela Purvis completed education at South Tyneside College from 1999 to 2001 and attended Harton Comprehensive from 1994 to 1999.
