Tom Swartz

Head of Product at Change Research

Tom is a product manager and data scientist with over 5 years of experience working in technology startups: designing and building data feeds and user-facing machine learning products. In 2018, he did volunteer data work for Let America Vote and Heidi Heitkampā€™s Senate campaign. In 2020, he volunteered on the data team for Pete Buttigiegā€™s presidential campaign and worked for the Texas Democratic Party in the lead up to the November general election. He has an Economics undergraduate degree from Yale University and a MSc in Nature, Society, and Environmental Policy and an MBA from Oxford University. Tom was a long time competitive rower and has lived in six states and three countries. He and his wife can commonly be found in various Washington, DC parks walking their dog.
