Mridul Mathur is a seasoned data governance and management professional currently serving as the Head of Global Data Governance at CHANEL since October 2021. Prior to this, Mridul held multiple key positions including Consultant at NHS Digital, Chief Data Officer at Dyson, and Program Director at Nordea, where significant advancements in customer and counterparty data capabilities were achieved. At HSBC, Mridul led the Global Head of Financial Crime Compliance Data Programme, focusing on critical customer data for regulatory compliance. Earlier experiences include managing UBS' Finance Data Function as Interim Head of Finance Data Management at PwC and overseeing client data initiatives at Deutsche Bank Group. Mridul holds an MBA from Rutgers Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
