Marianna Nitsch is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Chief Legal Officer and Group General Counsel at CHANEL since September 2013. Nitsch has held various leadership roles, including Trustee and President of Fondation CHANEL, UK and France, respectively, from May 2018 to June 2024. Nitsch's prior experience includes significant positions at GE, where responsibilities included General Counsel Europe and Global Growth & Operations from September 2007 to September 2013, and as Director of International Legal at Biogen Idec International from 2001 to 2007. Early career experience includes senior roles at Freshfields, Bruckhaus, Deringer, Gide, Loyrette, Nouel, and Shearman & Sterling.
