Caitlin Westerfield is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing educational technologies and data analytics. Currently serving as a Tech Lead at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since January 2021, Caitlin spearheaded the creation of Readiness Checks, an automated assessment tool designed to enhance classroom instruction. Previous roles include a Finance Fellow for Sara Gideon for Maine, where a record-breaking fundraising achievement was accomplished, and internships that focused on accessibility in education and security analytics at AT&T. Educationally, Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Religious Studies from Yale University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Analytics and Policy at The Johns Hopkins University.
