Emory Cothen currently serves as the Young Adults Pastor at Champion Forest Baptist Church, a position held since August 2022. Previous roles include Next Gen Pastor and Student Pastor at First Baptist Church of Wylie from January 2021 to August 2022, and Minister to High School and Student Ministry Associate at Prestonwood Baptist Church from January 2017 to December 2020. Emory's early career included positions at Dallas Baptist University as Assistant Director of First-Year Student Recruitment and Encounter Ministries Coordinator, as well as internships at Calvary Baptist Church. Emory holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership, a Master of Arts in Theology/Theological Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, all from Dallas Baptist University, with the PhD program ongoing until December 2025.
