Darin Henigman, Ed.D, currently serves in the Science Education department at Volusia County School District since August 2018 and has been a Biology and Accelerated Biology Teacher at Champaign Unit 4 Schools since August 1993. Additionally, Darin Henigman has experience as an Experienced Science Educator in an online education setting for a brief period in May 2018 and served in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronic Tech 2nd Class from January 1979 to June 1984. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) in Curriculum & Instruction, a Master of Education (MEd) in Science Education, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology/Biological Sciences and Secondary Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and University of Illinois Springfield respectively, along with an international education at College du Leman in Switzerland.
