Aimie Harris is a dedicated special education teacher at Champaign Unit 4 Schools, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this role, Aimie served as a stay-at-home mom from May 2018 to February 2022, and worked as an attendance secretary at Franklin Middle School from October 2014 to July 2018. Aimie's earlier professional experience includes key roles as a commission sales associate and key holder at Slumberland Furniture, as well as various positions at Things Remembered, including sales associate and store manager. Aimie began their career as a night unit counselor and educational liaison at Cunningham Children's Home. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational & Professional Development from Eastern Illinois University, and an Associate’s Degree in English/Education from Illinois Valley Community College. Aimie is a graduate of DePue High School.
