Scott received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Urbana University in 1994. He began working for CRSI in 1999 as a regional accountant and was later promoted to Controller. In 2007, Scott was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and in 2012 was named President of CRSI.

He is very active on the state and national level, exploring best practice solutions and advocating for the benefit and human rights of people with disabilities.

​Additionally, he is active in the community, serving on local boards; including being elected to the Mechanicsburg Exempted School Board in 2010 and 2013.
