Prior to that, they worked at Remy Cointreau from 1994 to 2018, where they held positions such as EMEA Regional Director Global Travel Retail, Americas Regional Director Global Travel Retail, Duty Free Director Remy-Cointreau/Maxxium, and International Marketing Director New Products Remy Martin. Francois also worked at BDDP Advertising as a Senior Advertising Manager, TAG Heuer as an International Sponsoring Manager, and J. Walter Thompson Worldwide as an Advertising Executive.
Francois Van Aal obtained a Master's degree in Economic Studies and Industrial Strategy from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL. Francois attended this university from 1986 to 1988. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Northeastern University. Francois attended Northeastern University from 1983 to 1986. Additionally, Francois Van Aal has obtained a Level 2 wine diploma from WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust in July 2020.
