Dirk Thorwirth currently serves as the Head of Sales - eCargo at CHAMP Cargosystems since December 2021. Prior to this role, Dirk held the position of Head of Sales at heyworld GmbH by Lufthansa Cargo from December 2019 to November 2021. Dirk's extensive experience includes serving as Director of Sales & Acquisition for the Business Unit Aviation at JENOPTIK from July 2015 to December 2019, and Managing Director Sales at Dokasch Air Cargo Equipment and Repair from April 2014 to March 2015. Additional roles include Director of Sales & Key Account Management at Jettainer, VP of Sales, Marketing and Product at Luxair, and Director of Sales at Lufthansa Miles & More International GmbH. Dirk began professional career as a Project Manager at LTU Airways GmbH & Co KG from April 1994 to January 1999. Dirk holds a diploma in Finance, Marketing, Market, and Competition from the University of Duisburg-Essen and has also studied at the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College and completed training as a Bankkaufmann at Deutsche Bank AG.
