Cass W. has a diverse work experience. Cass started as a Lawyer/Senior Associate in various companies from 2003 to 2013. Cass then worked at the Department of Sport and Recreation as the Chair of the Combat Sports Commission from 2017 to 2020. Afterwards, they joined ISS Facility Services Australia and New Zealand as the Deputy Legal Counsel from 2013 to 2023. Currently, Cass W. holds the position of Commercial Director at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA since 2023. Additionally, they serve as a Non-Executive Board Member at Basketball WA from 2020 onwards.
Cass W. has a diverse education history. In 1997 to 2000, they attended Western Sydney University and earned a Bachelor of Health Science degree with a focus on Psychology and Sociology. Cass continued their education at the same university from 1999 to 2002 and obtained an LLB degree in Law. In 2003, Cass pursued further legal studies by completing a Diploma of Legal Studies at The College of Law Australia.
Cass then took a break from formal education until 2016 when they attended Women in Mining WA for an unspecified program or course. In 2017, Cass enrolled in two short-term programs. The first one was at the Australian Institute of Management, where they studied "The Board Chairperson". The second program was at Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) for an Executive Ready course.
Cass also holds several certifications. In 2003, they were admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Additionally, in 2007, they obtained admission to the High Court of Australia. Most recently, in March 2022, Cass achieved certification as a Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid Australia.
