Vanessa Rogers currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Workforce Development at the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, a position held since July 2023. Previously, from September 2014 to July 2023, Vanessa was a Leadership Training and Strategic Program Consultant at Year Up, where Vanessa led the design and launch of new program models and developed training systems to enhance staff effectiveness. Vanessa has held multiple roles at Year Up, including Director of Academics and Business Communications Instructor, focusing on closing the Opportunity Divide for urban young adults. Earlier experience includes serving as a Placement Coordinator at Temporary Staffing by Suzanne, Ltd., an English Teacher at Westgate Corporation, and a Project Manager with Conference Solutions Inc., where Vanessa demonstrated strong project management and communication skills. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies from the University of Oregon and a TEFL Certificate from ITC International.
