Cecilia Smith is a prolific recording artist, musician, composer, and multimedia artist with extensive experience in various artistic roles. Currently serving as a recording artist at Innova Recordings since January 2023, Cecilia's upcoming project, "The Mary Lou Williams Resurgence Project: Small Ensemble Repertoire," is set for release on May 5, 2023. In addition, Cecilia has been involved with Chamber Music America since August 2021, contributing to the Mary Lou Williams project and receiving a Jazz Consortium Grant in 2022. Throughout a distinguished career, Cecilia has held leadership positions including President of CEA Music Company and DECISIVE MOMENTS, LLC, while also making contributions as a teaching artist with the Brooklyn Arts Council and a commissioned composer. Educational qualifications include a BM in Music Performance/Music Composition from Berklee College of Music.
