Jacqui Shurlock is an experienced professional in policy development and advocacy, currently serving as Head of Policy (jobshare) at Youth Futures Foundation since March 2023 and as a Child Listener at Challengers since May 2022. Previously, Jacqui held the role of Head of Policy and Campaigns (jobshare) at The Fostering Network, where responsibilities included leading a new team and influencing national foster care policies. Notable experience includes working on various strategic projects at The Challenging Behaviour Foundation, where Jacqui focused on improving practices for children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours, and contributions to the Department for Education in various leadership roles, including development of policies for children's centres and disabled children. Jacqui holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology from Loughborough University.
