Thomas Beissert has extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as General Manager of Operations and General Manager of the F&B Division at Challenger Services Group since August 2014. Prior to this, Thomas held roles such as Deputy Operational Executive Chef and Compliance and Special Projects at Urban Purveyor Group from March 2012 to July 2014, and Executive Chef at Bavarian Hospitality Group from August 2009 to December 2011. Earlier career positions include Head Chef at Lowenbrau Keller Sydney, F&B Management Trainee and Chef at Kempinski Hotels, as well as Chef roles at Swissotel Berlin, Dolder Grand Hotel, and Fischerhutte. Thomas began culinary training as an Apprentice Chef at Opernpalais. Educational background includes attendance at Gerhard-Hauptmann Gymnasium from 1990 to 1995.
