Kimberly Messer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kimberly has served as the Director of Communications at Challenge Charter Schools, where they focused on engaging families through effective storytelling. Additionally, Kimberly founded and directed the Moonlight Players' Drama Club at Renaissance High School, providing students with a platform to explore theater and develop life skills. Kimberly also worked as a Senior Creative Manager at Vincent Creative Group and as a Professional Editor for Various Writers. In their role as an Artist Representative at Carter Robertson, Kimberly managed musician and writer Carter Robertson's projects and helped with promotion and branding. Kimberly also worked as a Project Manager at a Travel Company and as a Professional Writer at WaterBrook Multnomah Publishers, where they wrote marketing copy for numerous bestselling and debut authors. Furthermore, Kimberly assisted in the planning and marketing of the C3 Conference at St. George's Institute of Church & Cultural Life, which explored the intersection of culture and faith. Kimberly served as the Web Content Manager for Novel Crossing, a faith and fiction website, and also contributed to the marketing and development strategies for Christians in Theatre Arts (CITA) as a Social Media & Development Consultant. Kimberly's experience demonstrates their expertise in communication, creative management, content editing, marketing, and event planning.

Kimberly Messer holds a Master of Arts - MA degree in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado, which they obtained between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Dramatic Arts and Communication Studies from Trevecca Nazarene University, graduating between 1992 and 1996. Their high school education took place at Putnam City West HS in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma between 1989 and 1992, where they focused on Theatre/Theater studies. In addition to their formal education, Kimberly Messer obtained a Google Certified Educator Level 1 certification from Google for Education in December 2017.
