Dillon Berger, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Risk & Trading at Chalkboard since May 2023. Prior to this role, Dillon worked as a Quantitative Developer at CAPRICA AI from March 2021 to May 2023. Dillon's academic background includes being an NSF GRFP Fellow of Physics and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UC Irvine from September 2017 to September 2021, where classes taught included Newtonian Mechanics and Quantum Mechanics. Research experience encompasses positions at CERN, where full-stack development of a core data visualization web app was conducted, and various research assistantships at George Mason University and Cornell University, focusing on topics such as black hole emissions and particle tracking. Educational achievements include a PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics from UC Irvine and dual degrees in Physics & Mathematics and Philosophy & Formal Logic from George Mason University.
