Eric Steer has extensive work experience in the food industry. Eric began their career at Sunbow Jersey Farm, where they worked as a Hard Work Specialist for seven years. After that, they held various roles at Morningstar Foods, Hilmar Cheese Company, and Prairie Farms Dairy as a Summer Intern. In 2005, they joined Dean Foods as a Management Trainee and later became a Production Supervisor and then a Production Manager. Eric worked at Dean Foods for a total of 14 years, eventually becoming a Plant Manager IV. Most recently, they joined Chairmans Foods as the VP of Operations in 2018.
Eric Steer attended Mississippi State University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Technology. Eric also received a second Bachelor's of Science degree in the same field from the same university during the same time period.
In terms of additional certifications, Eric obtained a Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in December 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Food Safety Modernization Act certification from Dean Foods in June 2012. Eric also received certifications as a HAACP Coordinator and SQF Practitioner from Randolph and Associates in November 2008. Additionally, they obtained a Sanitation and Food Safety certification from Ecolab in September 2005. There is no information available regarding the month and year of their Blood Donor certification from the American Red Cross.
