Mark Platt has had a varied career in the technology industry. Mark began their career in 2000 as a Network Administrator and IT Support at Logan Capital Management Inc. In 2007, they moved to PathwaysPA as a Network Administrator. In 2010, they worked as a Consultant at CareerTEAM. Mark then joined Tamman Technologies Inc. in 2011, first as a Web Application Developer and then as a Senior Consultant. In 2014, they joined WebLinc Commerce as a Backend Developer, Technical Lead, and Technical Manager. In 2019, they moved to Benefits Data Trust as an Acting Director of Software Engineering and Software Engineering Manager and Software Architect. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Chain.io as the VP of Engineering and Director of Software Engineering.

Mark Platt attended Drexel University from 1998 to 2004 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Information System and Technology.
