Brian Linke is an experienced professional with a diverse background in operations, conservation, and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Chabot Space & Science Center since August 2021, Brian previously held the roles of Operations Manager and Lead Fabricator. As a consultant in May 2021, Brian worked on a protest art project, advising on the establishment of a museum for a significant collection from the Black Lives Matter and George Floyd movements. Brian's earlier experience includes a 30-year tenure at Conservart Associates, Inc. as a Conservation Technician, where significant projects involved uncovering and restoring murals and paintings. Additional roles include co-founding UrbanBeeSF, managing beekeeping initiatives, and providing carpentry restoration services for vintage yachts. Brian has also managed notable projects such as the mechanical restoration of the 1906 Looff Carousel and has led production efforts for educational devices for disabled children.
