Mohammad AlTaji is an experienced professional with a diverse background in IT security and consulting. Mohammad is the founder and CEO of CGuards since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategic IS Services Consulting Manager at IT Security C&T from 2015 to 2019. Mohammad also has experience as a freelance IT & Security Specialist from 2011 to 2015. Before that, they worked as an Information Technology Risk & Assurance Consultant at Ernst & Young from 2008 to 2011 and as an IT Auditor at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization in 2008. Mohammad started their career as an Engineering Intern at General Electric - Brazil in 2005.
Mohammad AlTaji completed their MSc in Internet, Computing and Systems Security from the University of Bradford in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc in Computer Engineering from Princess Sumaya University for Technology in 2006. In terms of additional certifications, they have achieved ISO 22301 Sr. Lead Auditor and Sr. Lead Implementer from PECB in 2019, CBCI from the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) in 2018, CDPO (Certified Data Protection Officer / EU GDPR) from PECB in 2018, CEH from EC-Council in 2015, CISA from ISACA in 2011, ITIL v3 from EXIN in 2009, and ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor and Lead Implementer from BSI.
