William Lawhorn serves as the Vice President at CGL Companies, an internationally recognized firm specializing in justice facilities. Since September 2019, Lawhorn has contributed to CGL's reputation as the largest criminal justice consulting firm globally. In addition, Lawhorn has been a Commissioner with the Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission since June 2016, overseeing the accreditation process to maintain high professional standards. Prior experience includes roles as CEO of TLM Correctional Consultants, LLC, and Captain at St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, as well as Director of Facility Operations for the Vermont Department of Corrections and Major at the Broward Sheriff's Office. Lawhorn's educational background includes studies at John Jay College (CUNY).
