Juan Manuel Carrillo, FRM, has extensive experience in risk management, currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer at Compass since October 2012. In this role, Carrillo oversees financial risk and leads risk management efforts across Latin America. Prior to this, Carrillo worked as a risk management analyst, focusing on market risk management and supporting portfolio managers in risk analysis and portfolio construction. Carrillo began the professional journey as a Becario at Compass in 2007. Academically, Carrillo holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from Universidad de Los Andes, achieved between 2006 and 2008, and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the same institution, completed in 2006.
