Veronica Mercier, CFA, is a Forensic Equity Research Analyst at CFRA Research since June 2019, specializing in forensic accounting to identify discrepancies between reported financial results and a company's actual financial health. Prior to this role, Veronica worked as a Student Economist at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from June 2018 to May 2019, contributing to global financial issue coordination and technical assistance. Additionally, Veronica served as a Graduate Economic Research Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University from August 2017 to June 2018. Educational achievements include a Master of Arts in Economics from George Mason University and dual Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Tampa, complemented by studies in Economics (Game Theory) at the University of Cambridge in 2016.
