Donald Thomas has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Donald worked as the Director of Technical Service and Quality Programs at CF Industries, where they managed product quality and stewardship programs for all of CF's North American manufacturing sites. Donald also led CF's project to obtain IFA Protect & Sustain Product Stewardship Certification. Prior to their role at CF Industries, Donald was the Director of Technical Service and Quality at Terra Industries Inc. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing technical service and quality functions. Before that, they worked at Mississippi Chemical Corp. as the Manager of Industrial Sales and later as a Sr. Research Project Leader. In these roles, they managed global sales and research and development projects related to nitrogen fertilizers, earning several patents.
Donald Thomas holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Operations Management and Supervision from Millsaps College, obtained from 1998 to 2001. Donald also completed a continuing business education course at Harvard Business School in 2009. Earlier, they pursued their Master of Combined Sciences (Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics) degree at Mississippi College from 1986 to 1991. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from Mississippi College between 1983 and 1985. Additionally, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Chemistry from Hinds Community College from 1980 to 1982. Donald has also acquired a range of certifications in areas such as inclusive leadership, diversity and inclusion, and servant leadership from LinkedIn.
